Boat enthusiasts and those looking for an enjoyable day out in Dubai's winter sun, are gearing up for the opening of the 2014 Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show, located at the picturesque Dubai Creek Marina, this Thursday.
Running from the 27 - 29th November, the event will not only see a variety of different sized watercraft to match varying budgets on sale and to rent, but will also feature a raft of fun activities for the whole family, including the Funky Monkey's playland for kids, as well as water-based races and demonstrations.
"The Dubai Pre-owned Boat Show is free to attend and there is something for everyone to enjoy from those looking at buying or renting a vessel to the general boat fanatic, as well as the family looking for a fun activity everyone will enjoy", explained Abdullah Ali Al Noon, Marina Operations Manager - Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. "We witnessed sales of AED15 million at last year's show with all kinds of catamarans, boats, yachts and aquatic vessels ranging in size from 16 to 90ft on show and we are looking forward to welcoming more visitors and increased levels of sales this year."
The event is celebrating its 5th Anniversary this year and will see buyers and sellers from throughout the region coming together to network and trade, with exhibitors such as Al Boom Marine, Atlas Continent, Contracting, Arabian Gulf Yachts and Exalto Emirates, as well as insurers such as Dar Al Takaful , offering services to effectively allow boat buyers to "buy and sail" on the same day.
Family activities will include a food and beverage zone, entertainment and dining options on the Marina's private island, a climbing wall hosted by Adventure HQ, Stand-Up Paddle-boarding, Dragon Boat Racing and Wake Boarding, in addition to live music, competitions and much more.
