Dubai Land Department Employees Visit Etihad Museum

The Employee Happiness Committee at Dubai Land Department (DLD) has recently organised a special Etihad Museum visit for its employees.

The visit is aligned with DLD’s efforts to launch several events and initiatives aimed at celebrating the achievements of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founding Father of the UAE, during the ‘Year of Zayed 2018’. The visit enabled all participants to learn more about the late Founding Father’s life, as well as his pivotal in uniting the seven Emirates and establishing the country on 2nd December 1971.

Saad Abdulla Al Hammadi, Head of the Employee Happiness Committee at DLD, said: “The visit to Etihad Museum in Dubai was very meaningful because the museum itself is a symbol of an important stage in the history of our beloved country. The visit helped our employees to remember the patriotism and unity of our wise leaders, who spared no effort in uniting the UAE and driving its onward journey toward the highest degree of progress and prosperity.”

Etihad Museum is a modern 21st century museum that focuses on inspiring the nation’s citizens and visitors with the story of the founding of the UAE. The museum takes its visitors on a unique journey featuring interactive exhibitions, programmes and educational initiatives that explore the chronology of events leading up to the establishment of the UAE in 1971 through the eyes of the Founding Fathers.
