With Eid Al Fitr just days away, Hilton Abu Dhabi’s skilled pastry team has crafted a chocolate replica of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque for guests to marvel in the hotel lobby.

The hotel’s award-winning executive pastry chef, Praveen Kumar and his team of seven talented chefs worked for 100 hours, using 130kg of white chocolate to build their largest ever piece of culinary art.

“To celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan and the occasion of Eid, we have put our skills to the test to create this white chocolate masterpiece! As pastry chefs, we are delighted to see guests from around the world marveling at our creation and the detail we have captured during the build.” said Praveen Kumar, executive pastry chef, Hilton Abu Dhabi.

The chocolate used to build the replica was contributed by bakery suppliers, Master Baker Marketing FZCO. Ronnie Khajotia, CEO said, “Hilton Abu Dhabi’s pastry team has showcased a huge amount of talent in building something of this scale with such precision and detail using our ingredients. We look forward to working alongside the hotel again to create works of art for hotel guests and local residents keen to mark a special occasion,” said Ronnie Khajotia, CEO of Masterbaker Marketing FZCO.

Hilton Abu Dhabi’s replica of the Grand Mosque, which is the eight largest mosque in the world, is on display in the hotel lobby until the end of Eid.
