Opening Of Latest Recipe At Le Meridien Abu Dhabi











The signature restaurant of Le Méridien Abu Dhabi, Latest Recipe redefines the concept of all day dining, offering a taste of discovery; a philosophy of combining live active stations, unique flavour combinations and showcasing the latest culinary trends worldwide, utilizing the freshest locally and regionally sourced produce. Replacing La Brasserie Restaurant, Latest Recipe is opening its doors on 2nd December 2014 with an inauguration ceremony at 7pm. After 5 months of renovations, the décor is fresh and minimalist whilst service is completely redefined, interactive, yet not intrusive; A sensory experience executed by the culinary and service team dedicated to surprise and delight each individual guest.

A total of five live, interactive cooking stations bring the culinary theatre to life, featuring a modern interpretation of dishes from the Middle East, India, Europe and Southeast Asia. Signature dishes include harissa infused hammour, tikka spiced lamb kebabs with coriander naan, Greek style roast baby chicken and stir fried duck glazed with balsamic reduction. Furthermore, an indoor charcoal grill showcases the freshest land and sea produce grilled to perfection, live within the restaurant! A rich variety of chutneys, pickles and sauces are on hand to spice it all up. The marketplace features a limitless selection of ingredients to create artistic salads right before your eyes. One will need to keep some room for the mouth watering, delicate assortment of desserts including freshly baked Parisian pastries, Tahitian vanilla crème brulée with raspberry vinegar sauce, homemade ice cream crafted on the cold stone with your favorite toppings or the live kunafa straight from the pan to name just a few.

Inherent in each dish is the innovative approach to flavour combinations that trigger the imagination on how to pair sweet and sour or salty with chocolate to tantalize the palate. Our talented multi-national culinary team ensures your preferences are considered and are personally on hand to meticulously craft each dish for every guest. With each station equipped to be able to produce just about any dish from the culinary spectrum, our chefs welcome the challenge to re-create your favorites just the way you like it! Recipe cards are available for each of our signature dishes and invite you to recreate the dishes at home or share with friends and family. 

Central to the restaurant is the “mother of pearl bar” serving fragrant cocktails, champagne, fine wines, and spirits. The bar menu features the finest oysters from France, Holland and Australia paired with signature condiments and cooking methods to indulge on, either in the lounge or outside on the deck, overlooking Le Méridien Village. Our resident DJ will play deep, new age inspired melodies and rhythms well into the night.

Breakfast starts with the addictive scent of freshly baked pastries wafting straight from the show kitchen oven and our signature eye openers, continuing on with a lavish spread of global favourites. You can literally travel the culinary world whilst sipping on freshly brewed Illy coffee from our Master Barista or perhaps one of our signature infused waters. Eclectic beats from a French band “Nouvelle Vague” will ensure a bright morning ahead subtly in the background.

Don’t be late on Fridays for the stylish yet surprising “Latest Brunch” that continues to evolve week by week, promising never to be boring. A melting pot of cuisines, live music, elements of surprise and our very own Le Méridien kids brunch every week. Think sparkling cocktails, seared scallops with chili sea salt, char-grilled Angus beef, Chicken tikka masala, decadent chocolate petit fours and a dedicated cheese room.
