Reem Al Bawadi Welcomes Al Ain Diners

Diners in Al Ain keen to enjoy the very best in home-grown local hospitality now have a new option to savour with the launch of Reem Al Bawadi. Located on the first floor of the Hili Mall and opening its doors to customers on November 25, 2015, the latest addition to the born-in-Dubai and award-winning restaurant franchise has been brought to the city by Marka PJSC in association with Target Investments.

“We are delighted to announce the opening of the first Reem Al Bawadi in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The new outlet is a natural addition to the dining scene in Al Ain, and represents Marka’s commitment to extend the popular brand across the UAE,” said Nick Peel, CEO, Marka PJSC.

Covering 8,000 sq. ft. and with indoor and outdoor seating areas for 300 guests, Reem Al Bawadi in Al Ain has been opened to both bring new culinary experiences to the city’s citizens and to cater for the brand’s clients from Al Ain who travel to its Dubai outlets on a regular basis.

Marka’s expansion of Reem Al Bawadi follows its purchase of the company in May this year for approximately AED 315 million - one of the largest food and beverage acquisitions in the UAE for a home-grown hospitality brand.

Established in 2001, Reem Al Bawadi has built its name and a strong clientele by specialising in high quality, affordable Middle Eastern cuisine served in a warm, family ambience. From its beginnings as a single outlet in Dubai, Reem Al Bawadi has grown to become one of the largest, best known and most highly regarded local food and beverage brands.

The brand’s commitment to providing the very best dining experience has led to it receiving numerous plaudits and acclaim, including the title ‘Best Middle Eastern Restaurant’ at both the prestigious BBC Good Food ME Award 2014 and the influential What’s On Awards 2014 and again in 2015.

Marka has confirmed an aggressive expansion programme for the brand, and the move into Abu Dhabi’s second largest city extends its portfolio to eight outlets across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The first ever Reem Al Bawadi restaurant in Ras al Khaimah also set to open in December, with the first outlet in Bahrain set to open its doors in January 2016.
