Thuraya, IEC Telecom Co-Exhibit At ADIPEC 2017 |

Together, the companies will also launch Thuraya’s new maritime terminal, Thuraya Atlas IP+Thuraya Telecommunications Company and long-term service partner, IEC Telecom, will be partnering up for the latest edition of the ADIPEC expo. Both companies will be at booth 410, Hall 4 at the event to showcase Thuraya’s space-based equipment for the energy sector as well as launch the latest maritime-specific broadband terminal, Thuraya Atlas IP+, for off-shore connectivity needs. An internationally renowned annual oil and gas gathering in Abu Dhabi, ADIPEC will be held from November 13th - 16th. Thuraya and IEC are one among 2,000 exhibitors at the event, which is expected to host over 100,000 industry delegates this year. As established satcom providers to the oil and gas industry, we look forward to meeting with top officials at the event and discussing how our latest offerings cater to niche market needs and evolving demands.” Thuraya Atlas IP+ is a maritime-specific broadband terminal manufactured to provide maritime users with added value, as compared to rival products in the market, and delivers enhanced versatility, connectivity and operational efficiency on board ships. Atlas IP+ supports simultaneous voice and broadband IP data connectivity at speeds of up to 444Kbps, offers improved power efficiency, and has a smaller form factor. Additional onboard functionalities include port forwarding, which automatically transfers data from shipboard equipment and devices in support of M2M reporting routines; an English/Chinese web interface; a built-in firewall; and the ability to use the terminal for vessel tracking increasing the effectiveness of fleet management. These products include Thuraya MCD Voyager, Thuraya Atlas IP, and a range of the satellite XT handsets. |
