HE Sultan Al Dhaheri, Executive Director for the Tourism Sector at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, said: “We look forward to welcoming families to the inaugural Dar Al Zain Festival which promises to quickly cement itself as a leading family entertainment platform in Al Ain. We have worked tirelessly to present a first-time concept in Al Ain that aims to target minimum of 70,000 visitors. We invite everyone across the UAE to come down to Al Ain throughout the ten days and enjoy the activities and installations on display.”

In addition to the live performances, the festival will feature a mix of shows and activations to entertain guests. Kids will be getting the lion share of the fun with 20 curated shows, including:

•Iftah Ya Simsim – Simsim Outerspace: Do your children love science? If yes, then this is a must-see and will test their knowledge in a fun and engaging way. The Simsim crew will run a competition to find out who knows more about science – an interactive and educational activation featuring favourite Iftah Ya Simsim songs and characters namely, Shams, No’man, Elmo and Kaaki. Kids can also enjoy the magnetic puzzle wall, giant keep active dice, invisible ink game, alphabet soup craft, plus number and alphabet activity sheets.

•Looney Tunes – ‘Little Tweety Hood’: If your children love to immerse themselves in the make-believe world of fairy tales, then this one’s for you. Listen in as Tweety decides to go venture into the dark woods and meet the big bad wolf. Join us to find out whether Sylvester will be able to catch Tweety as we unravel the breathtaking ending. Your children will enjoy participating in the Looney Tunes-themed activities including colouring, mask making, and even building their own Tweety cage!

The show takes place from 14 – 17 December, from 6 – 9:30 pm including 3 daily shows with characters Meet & Greet.

•My Little Pony: To add to the excitement, we invite you to come down and meet the characters from Ponyville.
