Yas Racing Series Returns This Weekend For Round 2 Featuring A Range Of Homegrown And International Championship Races

Formula 4 UAE returns to its home at Yas Marina Circuit, providing a platform for some of the region’s best junior drivers

Yas Marina Circuit will host a mix of international and homegrown events this weekend as the popular Yas Racing Series returns for Round 2.

Back on both Friday and Saturday, the Formula 4 UAE will return to its home grid at Yas Marina Circuit for another exciting preview of tomorrow's motor racing superstars. This FIA-accredited feeder series aims to produce and nurture the best current young racing talent in a bid to progress young drivers on their professional motorsport career path.

Also taking place at Yas Marina Circuit this weekend is the first round of international championship TCR Middle East. The event format provides two Free Practice sessions and the Qualifying on Friday and the two 60-kilometre Races on Saturday. The Sporting Regulations allow two drivers to share the driving duties during the weekend for the regional edition of this exciting global touring car championship

Additionally, spectators will be able to take in all the action as the drivers compete for all-important leaderboard points in the Formula Gulf Academy, as Rounds 2 & 3 play out on the Circuit on Friday.

Guests to the Circuit can also take advantage of various food and beverage packages available across the weekend, with a range of hop, grapes and other refreshments available at the cash bar.

With a general admission ticket for the weekend's packed schedule of events costing only AED25 per person, it's great value for all members of the family. Racing begins at 9:00am on Friday.
