Al Fahid Development To Launch Sales Of Abu Dhabi Waterfront Project On 3 March

Al Fahid Property Development, the developer behind Al Fahid – Abu Dhabi’s leading waterfront residential development and luxury escape destination, today announced that it will commence the launch of sales of phase one of the project on 3 March 2018.

Named Al Marsa, phase one of the project is slated for handover by Q3 2023. Set to offer a cosmopolitan lifestyle in harmony with nature, Al Marsa will feature 301 luxury villas and nine apartment buildings.

The fully integrated Al Fahid development is strategically located between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island, in proximity to the Sheikh Khalifa Highway, ensuring ease of access to downtown Abu Dhabi, Al Maryah Island, and Abu Dhabi Airport. Once completed, the entire five-phase, 3.2 million-square-metre project will have the capacity to accommodate more than 11,000 residents, with Al Marsa accounting for nearly half – approximately 4,600.

On the occasion, His Excellency Saeed Eid Al Ghafli, Chairman of Al Fahid Property Development, said: “Poised to become Abu Dhabi’s first authentic luxury waterfront destination, the Al Fahid development will go a long way in attracting investments to the UAE capital. The launch of sales reinforces our commitment to enhancing the city’s lifestyle offering. The project will support key drivers of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 including the development of premium infrastructure assets, economic diversification, investment facilitation, and environmental sustainability, while boosting happiness levels among the community.”

Offering media representatives a comprehensive overview of the plans of Al Fahid development, Galal Kulaib, CEO and Official Spokesperson for Al Fahid Property Development, said: “Abu Dhabi’s economic stability and stimulating investment environment drive growth in key sectors. Our latest upscale residential and commercial development will be a valuable addition to the emirate’s surging real estate market. In line with leading quality standards, we are committed to the timely delivery of our projects that comply with best-in-class construction benchmarks.”

He added: “Designed by an international consortium of architects, engineers, and consultants, the Al Fahid development will safeguard the sustainability of marine life, mangroves, and archaeological sites. In addition to expanding Abu Dhabi’s inhabited land by 329 hectares, the project will contribute to creating around 1,500 new job opportunities over the next three years.”

Set to span 1.1 million square metres, Al Marsa is scheduled for handover in two stages. The 464,000-square-metre stage one will feature 301 villas, ranging from 4,600 to 17,000 square feet and comprising four- to seven- bedroom units. Unrivalled in luxury and privacy, the sustainably designed villas will offer a choice of three views – canal, sea, or garden – and include an option to incorporate a side yacht dock. Eighty per cent of the villas will enjoy waterfront vistas.

Stage two of Al Marsa will include nine apartment buildings overlooking the marina, with five towers in the middle, flanked by two on each side. The buildings will comprise a total of 671 one- to four-bedroom apartments including 15 townhouses. In addition to more than 85 berths, the state-of-the-art luxury marina will boast 88,000 square feet of retail and F&B space.

To support an active lifestyle, Al Fahid will feature walking and bicycle paths, beaches, a marina, canals offering water access to the entire development, a retail space, a promenade, a beach club, a mosque, a civic centre, a nursery, and a water sports centre. Furthermore, the sustainable community is set to become home to kite surfers and explorers seeking adventure on the sea.
