Judicial Department Goes Paperless |

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has gone paperless in settling all lease-related disputes. In a statement, the Department announced that all lawsuits related to rent disputes are to be handled via the electronic case filing system and the electronic case management system. "The move echoes the department's commitment to go a long way in the field of e-judiciary as per the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and the Department Chairman, to ensure a developed and well-integrated legislative environment that keeps pace with the multifaceted and rapid developments in this field," said Counsel Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of the Judiciary Department. "This development helps promote the UAE capital as an ideal city for accommodation and investment, which will reinforce property owners and tenants' trust in the realty investment-conducive environment in the country and its competitiveness," he added. |
