Preparations For Second Aqdar World Summit Underway |

The heads of organising committees of the Aqdar World Summit have met to discuss preparations and agendas for the second summit, to be held from 26th to 28th November, 2018, in Abu Dhabi, under the theme, "Role of Human Empowerment in Developing Stable Societies: Sustainable Development." The meeting, chaired by Dr. Abdullah Al Raisi, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of Aqdar World Summit, also reviewed the topics of plenary sessions, brainstorming sessions and workshops. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's human empowerment strategies will be the main theme of day one of the three-day summit. Aqdar World Summit is organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions a member of INDEX Holding in cooperation and partnership with the Khalifa Empowerment Programme, "Aqdar," Ministry of Interior and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Held under the patronage of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Aqdar World Summit is an international platform that aims to develop sustainable societies, empower individuals, and support important initiatives and awareness programs that benefit communities. The event aims to achieve its main objective of "Nourishing Minds, Flourishing Nations." In its second edition, Aqdar World Summit will bring together leaders, experts and high-profile speakers from various fields to discuss the main theme and come up with important impact-based initiatives and recommendations that will undoubtedly have a positive influence on the community. The summit is an enlightening event, which brings together educators, learners, parents, societies, innovative concept developers and technologies for the advancement of the existing education system while preserving and reassuring the moral values. |
