8th Sharjah Ramadan Majlis Celebrates Emirati Traditions, Values: Sultan Bin Ahmed |

The Sharjah Press Club, an initiative of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, has released the agenda of the eighth edition of Sharjah Ramadan Majlis, to be held from 13th to 26th May, 2019, at Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, stressed that the Sharjah Ramadan Majlis initiative, once again being hosted in partnership with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (Sharjah Radio and TV), is based on celebrated UAE traditions and values and is aimed at addressing a broad range of issues of interest to both individuals and society. It will also encourage meaningful dialogue and communication between various segments and members of society. The Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council pointed out that the Majlis sessions have been able to achieve many of its objectives in addressing a host of key issues and raising awareness about them by specialists and experts and leading members of the community from across the UAE and beyond. Over the past seven years, the sessions have been attended by leading thinkers, government officials, ministers, intellectuals and influencers from across the region and this edition will present new topics in line with the community's interests. |
