The Art of Mediating Marital Disagreements is the title of this week’s episode of ’Nashwa.’ Nashwa Al Ruwaini asks the question: How can each couple turn their daily disputes and personal differences into positive aspects to support their relationship and strengthen their ties?
’Nashwa’ is aired on Dubai TV every Monday at 22:30 and repeated every Saturday at 18:00.
Nashwa welcomes Milad Ahmed Hassan, a Bahraini man, whose disagreements with his wife reached the point of divorce. She had refused to accept any attempts to reconcile but after attending family counseling, they have returned to a happy marriage.
The show also uncovers the experiences of Mrs. Luma from Jordan and Mohammed Balal, her Turkish husband. The different language, customs, traditions and natures stood as barriers between them and led to many disagreements over the years. Mrs. Luma then decided to learn the art of mediating marital disagreements until she became an expert which led to a successful and stable life and marriage.
Eissam Batah from Egypt talks of the many disagreements between him and his wife because of their differing personalities and media personality Marwa Rakha talks to Nashwa of her website which aims to solve all types of romantic and emotional problems.
The show concludes by welcoming the Emirati Ashwaq, the first medical sculptor who designs prosthetic limbs for amputees. Ashwaq discusses the art of sculpting prosthetic eyes and tells the secret of her attraction to this delicate profession.
