National Bank Of Abu Dhabi Installs 11 ATM’s At Yas Marina Circuit

National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), The Number One Bank in the UAE, has installed 11 ATM machines at Yas Marina Circuit in preparation for the 2009 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, from October 30 to November 1st, 2009.

The ATMs are designed in the shape of One NBAD Tower, the bank’s head office, to enhance the level of consistent communications with our valued customers.

Spread all across Yas Marina Circuit, the ATMs will provide easy access for race-goers as well as residents and visitors of Yas Island to perform a variety of transactions such as cash withdrawal, payment of bills, credit card payment, transfer of money, balance enquiry, request for statement, cheque book request, and NBAD Arrow service.

Yas Island will play an integral part in the development of Abu Dhabi as a leading international city with world class sporting and recreational facilities.

"NBAD has come with the idea of using One NBAD Tower, which is a stunning landmark in Abu Dhabi, as a model for our new ATMs to reflect our progressive mentality in using innovative ideas and advanced technologies to make our customer enjoy a convenient banking experience," said Mr. Ahmed Al-Naqbi, Senior Manager, Channels and Electronic Banking Services at NBAD.

"As the Official Bank of the 2009 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the Official Partner of Yas Marina Circuit, we are pleased to be working with our partners in making this event one of Abu Dhabi’s most important and memorable moments," he added.

Formula 1 race weekends are watched by more than 600 million viewers globally, which enables NBAD to broaden its reach and visibility both locally and internationally. 50,000 spectators are expected to attend the 2009 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit.

"NBAD’s branch and ATMs network covers all areas of the UAE, and we are planning to install more ATMs in Yas Island as well as other new developments to provide electronic banking services to the residents and visitors of Yas Island and neighboring suburbs". Al-Naqbi explained.
