FunZone for kids and plenty more in store for visitors
Al Ain Mineral Water Company (P.J.S.C.), the fully owned and operated entity of Abu Dhabi-based AGTHIA Group P.J.S.C., is for the third consecutive year a Gold Sponsor of the Al Ain Aerobatic Show, held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nayhan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, from 27 – 30 January in the Garden City of Al Ain.

This year’s show will feature several exciting spectacles, including a South African team Aerobatic attempting to complete a never-before-seen triple synchronized inverted parachute drop while the aircraft are performing a formation loop, and the appearance of the only disabled pilots’ aerobatic display team in the world from Italy. Set against the backdrop of one of the world’s oldest desert oasis settlements, the Al Ain Aerobatic Show is one of the largest and most prestigious events of its type in the world and the only aerobatic spectacle that combines military and civil aircraft, stunt displays and competitions, with the participation of some of the world’s top pilots from Croatia, Hungary, Italy, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK and the USA.
Al Ain Water Experience
This time around, the Company aims to offer the ‘Al Ain Water Experience’ to all visitors. It will set up a FunZone for kids and families visiting the show and they will get free Al Ain water bottles and Capri-Sun juices to replenish their energy, as well as the chance to win many exciting prizes. The FunZone area will offer kids several activities including face painting, balloon twisting, a clown show, games and competitions “The Al Ain Aerobatic Show is a very exciting event in its own right, but we intend to make it an even more memorable occasion for everyone. We know kids tend to have a shorter span of attention, so the FunZone should keep them entertained with it various activities”, added Mr. Beg.
Make–A-Wish Foundation
As the focus this year is on kids at the Al Ain Aerobatic Show, Al Ain Mineral Water Company has invited the children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation to enjoy the spectacular air show and the other activities in the FunZone. The UAE chapter of the global foundation is dedicated to assisting children diagnosed with a life threatening illness and their families by providing an avenue for hope, strength, and much joy. Over 40 children from the foundation will be invited to the aerobatic show as well as attending sessions with the daredevil pilots.
Al Ain Mineral Water Company will be sampling more than 70,000 bottles of water at the event. They will also partner with the organizers and LavaJet to collect all the empty bottles at the event that would go for recycling.
The Al Ain Aerobatic Show is hosted by Abu Dhabi Airports Company, and is organized by ADTA and the UAE Air Force.
