ADIPEC 2010 Extends Call For Papers |

ADIPEC 2010, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference, has extended the Call for Papers deadline until 15 April. ADIPEC’s technical conference, which is organised in conjunction with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), has announced the call for papers deadline has been extended for the three main themes of the conference, Sub-surface, Surface and Vision. The Vision session is a particularly poignant theme as the world recovers from a hard-hitting global recession, as it provides the opportunity to present and discuss evolution of the industry in the near to distant future, under the constraint of a lower-carbon environment. The debate will aim to generate ideas surrounding opportunities, prospects and discoveries, and the way day-to-day business practices can be developed and optimised over the next two decades. Hifazat Ahmad, event director of ADIPEC 2010, said: “We have extended the deadline by two weeks to accommodate the interest we have had from both regional and international companies.
