Aldar And TDIC Join In New LEAD Partnership |

Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), has pledged support for Aldar Properties’ LEAD (Leadership Excellence Applied Diploma) Programme, which aims to sponsor a new generation of UAE leaders. Under an agreement signed at TDIC’s offices this week, TDIC joined in as silver sponsors for LEAD, a unique programme that demonstrates Aldar’s commitment to giving UAE youth access to world class education and arming them with appropriate tools to become future leaders in their fields. Originally introduced in 2007, the LEAD initiative received a major boost in 2009 when Aldar signed up Cambridge University’s Judge Business School, one of the top ten in the world, to deliver a new version of the LEAD Programme. The new LEAD is of 12 months duration with core modules and electives, some experiential and all delivery, assessment and accreditation to be conducted in Abu Dhabi by Cambridge Faculty. The course is open to all Emiratis throughout Abu Dhabi. The sponsorship agreement was signed at TDIC head office by Bayan Al Hosani, Head of Human Resources Department at Aldar Properties, and Sheikha Mahra Khalid Al Qassimi, TDIC’s Senior Communications Manager. Pursuant to the agreement, TDIC will have their staff enrolled in the programme and will enjoy a host of other sponsorship privileges. TDIC joins a group of leading Abu Dhabi institutions who have committed their support to the programme. These include Injazat, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Dolphin Energy, the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi, and Al Fahim Group. Bayan Al Hosani, Aldar Properties’ Head of Human Resources Department said: "We are pleased to have won the commitment of TDIC to our LEAD programme. This is indeed a further endorsement of the programme which is moving from strength to strength, and we are delighted to see more and more Abu Dhabi institutions attracted to it." Sheikha Mahra Al Qassimi, TDIC’s Senior Communications Manager said: "As education is one of TDIC’s core pillars, we are really proud to be endorsing this great programme with Aldar.
