Sheikh Zayed Mosque And Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Amongst Winners Of Glamorous Awards Recognizing The Best In Abu Dhabi |

The first Best In Abu Dhabi Awards, dubbed ‘The Emmys of the Emirate,’ were an invite only event held on Saturday 28th May 2010 with the winners being announced to a glamorous crowd of who’s who in the Emirate at the Rotana Yas Island. The winners list recognises the best the Emirate has to offer in hospitality, culture, social and initiatives that will shape the future of Abu Dhabi. The awards were sponsored by our partners; Ahlan! magazine, Rotana Yas Island, Premier Motors, Jaguar, Centro Yas Island, Line Investments, Home Centre and Ducab. The winners were chosen from a shortlist nominated by the public. Once the shortlist was announced, the voting was again opened to those who work, live and enjoy the Abu Dhabi Emirate who were invited to select their favourite businesses, galleries, clubs and schools, and to recognize the Government initiative which has made the biggest impact on the region. The Best in Abu Dhabi 2010 book will be released free with copies of Ahlan! magazine on sale on the 10th June 2010, highlighting both the winners and those shortlisted. This annual book will include photos from the glamorous event held on Saturday evening and images of the winners as they scooped their awards, the ultimate recognition from the public that they are the Best In Abu Dhabi for their category. The Best In Dubai Awards 2010 will be held in November 2010 with sponsorship opportunities becoming available from September.
