"Jewellery And Watch Show Abu Dhabi 2010" To Profile Nearly 130 Exhibitors From 20 Countries


JWS 2010 to be held under patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, "Mother of Nation". JWS 2010 exhibition space fully sold out one month prior to the opening. Event set to bring nearly 130 premium exhibitors from across the world to capital. Exhibition to showcase latest in craftsmanship and design, highlight new trends in gold & jewellery segment. Last year’s edition saw more than 7,700 visitors from 15 countries.










The 18th edition of the International Jewellery and Watch Show (JWS Abu Dhabi) 2010 will be under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Mother of Nation, and is organized by Reed Exhibitions in association with Pearl Revival committee. The exhibition is set to bring together nearly 130 exhibitors from over 20 countries at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from November 10 to 14, 2010. JWS 2010 has already witnessed a sell-out of exhibition space five weeks ahead of the event.

Exhibitors represented at the event include those from Belgium, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States. JWS Abu-Dhabi 2010 will bring on display world-class designs and up-to-the-minute collections from manufacturers and designers across the globe.

JWS 2010 is part of the REED Jewellery Group, a worldwide leader in high quality exhibition and conferences. This year, JWS has partnered with Gemological Institute of America to offer a series of seminars on purchasing gems and jewellery as well as upcoming trends in jewellery design. The seminars are being held for no extra cost and are open for all visitors. The topics covered by the seminars include diamond basics, latest diamond and gemstones treatment and an introduction to pearls. The event is being presented in partnership with Rotana Hotels, who are serving as hospitality partners for the event.

Last year’s edition of JWS attracted more than 7,700 visitors from the GCC countries, with over 130 exhibitors from 20 countries showcasing their unique collections.

“JWS 2010 will showcase the latest creations by the world’s best designers that will appeal to the aesthetic sensibilities of people from all walks of life. The new timing of the show is also aimed at leveraging the celebratory atmosphere in Abu Dhabi as the city hosts the 2010 Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. We are confident of attracting an even stronger flow of international visitors at JWS 2010,” added Fernezian.
