Mafraq Hospital Awards Loyal Employees

Over 600 of Mafraq Hospital employees have been in service for at least 10 years

Mafraq hospital, managed by Bumrungrad International, awarded 606 of its employees who have been with the institution for more than 10 years. The awards were presented in line with Mafraq Hospital’s efforts to promote a culture of quality and outstanding patient care.

“Through this ceremony, we wish to recognize and appreciate the efforts of our very dedicated and loyal staff,” said Mr. John Nickens, CEO, Mafraq Hospital. “220 of our employees have been with Mafraq for over 20 years!! This is a great honor for the Mafraq brand name - one of the pillars of the Mafraq culture is to harbor a growth oriented, educational and constantly evolving environment to inspire our staff and guarantees patient satisfaction.”

The awards were divided into three categories: One group awarded employees that have achieved 10-14 years of service; another group targeted employees of 15-19 years of service; and the final group received awards for more than 20 years of service. Each category contained a significant percentage of senior staff, which further emphasizes the level of growth and experience Mafraq Hospital is providing its employees.

Five awards were also given to employees who had suggested improvement projects which were practical and implementable, as part of the scheme to encourage all employees to participate in the continuous improvement of Mafraq Hospital.

Mafraq Hospital is owned and operated by the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company PJSC (SEHA), which is responsible for all the curative activities of public hospitals and clinics in Abu Dhabi. The hospital is managed by Bumrungrad International, one of the most renowned hospital management companies in Asia, recognized internationally for its commitment to patient care and customer service.
