All Eyes On Modhesh As Character Dubai 2009 Exhibition Begins

Character Dubai 2009, the first character and licensing exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, begins on Tuesday, October 27, as Dubai’s favourite and most well-known mascot, Modhesh, gets set to make an indelible mark in the three day event.

The Dubai Shopping festival Office, the sole proprietor of Modhesh trade mark, is aiming to further expand the prospects of Modhesh international exposure by strongly participating in the exhibition that is being Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, and organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organisation Establishment, a member of INDEX Holding.

Located at the entrance of Hall (6), and spread over a 144 square meters making it the biggest stand in the exhibition, the ever-smiling mascot will receive his visitors with a stand wholly dedicated and themed for him. Character Dubai 2009 is expected to provide the mascot the impetus to go global and explore innumerable opportunities in the international licensing industry. As such, the exhibition welcomed more than 10,000 visitors last year. Character Dubai 2009 is seen as the ideal platform for the Modhesh brand to generate awareness locally, regionally, and globally.
