Lands Trading At Abu Dhabi Hits Dh 3b In Jan

Total land disposals at the Municipality of Abu Dhabi during January last topped Dh 2.8 billion; with mortgages amounting to Dhs 2.6 billion and total trading accounting for Dhs 247.6 million.

Total disposals of 43 residential properties amounted Dh161.5 million, and total disposals of 8 commercial properties reached Dh82.7 million, whereas total disposals of 4 agricultural lands recorded Dh3.3 million.

Abu Dhabi Island topped the list in terms of the number of most selling areas where 18 fully completed transactions have been made, followed by Mohammed bin Zayed City with 8 fully completed transactions, next came Khalifa A City and Khalifa B City with 7 fully completed transactions.

In terms of sales amount, Abu Dhabi also topped the list recording sales amounting to Dh124.85 million, followed by Mohammed bin Zayed City with total sales of Dh49.2 million, and Khalifa City with a sales amount of Dh37.15 million.

In terms of sales agreement amount, a commercial land at Abu Dhabi Island was sold for Dh31.8 million, and the highest mortgage was arranged for a property at Baniyas amounting to Dh780 million.
