RTA announces service timing during New Year’s holidays "The service of the Green Line on Saturday Dec 31st 2016 will start from 05:50 am and continue up to 12:00 midnight, and on Sunday 01 January 2017, it will operate from 12:01 just past midnight to up to 12:00 midnight. The Express Metro service will be off duty on Sunday 01 January 2017."

DEWA completes 53% of M-Station expansion Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced that it has completed 53% of the M-Station expansion project. The M-Station is the newest and largest power production and water desalination plant in the UAE. DEWA completed 3.9 million safe man-hours without any injuries.
