Families Find Shopping Haven In Arabian Centre

If numbers are any indication, Arabian Centre may have found its niche as the premiere shopping destination of choice for families from the Khawaneej, Mirdiff and outlying areas.

Midway through its first participation as a key sponsor of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) that is celebrating its 15th edition this year, Arabian Centre saw a 25 percent increase in footfall, translating to a 20 percent in sales.

Since its launch, families have been Arabian Centre’s primary customers. With dedicated shopping zones for men, women and children, the mall has created a unique shopping proposition that targets each member of the family.

British couple Danny and Sharon Kourush live in the Mirdiff area and prefer coming to Arabian Centre for its relaxing ambience as well as the friendly atmosphere and crowd. “There is something here for both of us, and we can conveniently find the shops for him as well as for me, thanks to the segregated zones,” said Sharon. “Plus it’s close to home, and it’s some where we can find a great place to eat, so we come here often, especially now because of DSF.”

Mozhgan Ghavihelm from Iran also enjoys shopping at Arabian Centre with her family. “I actually look forward to DSF because of the great discounts, because I can buy more for less,” she said. Mozhgan also loves the fact that the mall is just close by to where she and her family live.

UAE national Mohammed Al Ghas says DSF is very well organised this year, and the shopping experience has been great so far. “I take my family to Arabian Centre because it is very family-oriented. I can do some shopping, with 75 percent off you will definitely shop. Also, the children can have fun in the family entertainment centre.”

Anan Omar has been living in Dubai for 16 years, participating in DSF every year since it was first held in 1996. This year, he will be celebrating with his family in Arabian Centre, the first time he has been to the mall. “I am looking to buy some gold and furniture. I heard this is a great place for families, so I came here and will do some shopping here.”

Shivangi Gandhi is a fashion enthusiast and came here to but some clothes to take advantage of DSF discounts. “There are some lovely shops here. I like to do a lot of mixing and matching of my clothes because I am a big fan of fashion. In fact, I am planning to pursue a career in fashion design and it’s great that Arabian Centre has such a variety of fashion shops where I can buy great clothes and absorb some great fashion inspiration.”

As a key sponsor of DSF, Arabian Centre offers huge mall-wide discounts and thrilling shop-and-win offers, as well as full fun and frolic with dance troops, musical performances and comedy acts for all.
