Eight new UAE ambassadors to friendly countries were sworn in before Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Present at the swearing-in ceremony were Dubai Crown Prince H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed also received the credentials of a number of foreign ambassadors to the UAE at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in boosting cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and their respective countries.
Also present at the ceremony were Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Gargash, Minister of State Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Director-General of His Highness the Ruler's Court Mohammed Ibrahim AI Shaibani, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman.
