His Highness has launched yesterday Area 2071 at Emirates Towers, Area 2071 will deliver a new way of working, where creative individuals, disruptive start-ups, government accelerators, corporate X-Labs and innovation units, venture capitalists, designers and research & development (R&D) institutions will gather to solve the world’s greatest questions and co-create radical and breakthrough solutions to advance humanity, aided by the latest advances in technology.
His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi, the Chairman of the Executive Office (TEO) of His Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid today has appointed Abdulaziz Khalid Al Jaziri as Director of Area 2071.
Abdulaziz Khalid Al Jaziri has worked in the Executive Office (TEO) of His Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as a project manager for the last 10 years. He holds a Bachelor and a Higher Diploma of Applied Science in Civil Engineering Technology. And a graduate of the UAE Government Leaders Programme.
Abdulaziz Al Jaziri is dedicated for developing innovative programs to design the future during his work with TEO.
The name Area 2071 originates from the UAE Centennial Plan 2071, the naming of which signifies 100 years since the formation of the United Arab Emirates. Through its vision and objectives, UAE Centennial Plan 2071 seeks to invest primarily in the youth of the UAE and to work for UAE to be the best nation in the world by 2071.
