Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum presented the UAE President's Cup to Al Wahda Sports Club who beat Al Nasr Sports Club 3-0 in the championship final at Zayed Sports City Stadium.
Sheikh Mohammed congratulated the club's administration, fans and footballers while presenting the cup to the team's captain. He wished UAE football further progress and achievements both at the regional and the international arenas.
Attending the celebration included HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; HH Sheikh Dhiyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Al Wahda Sports Club; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development; Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Nasr Sports Club; Marwan bin Ghalaita, President of the UAE Football Association; and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality in addition to a huge number of spectators and sports figures.
