Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended today the graduation ceremony of the 17th batch of the Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Naval College in Abu Dhabi.
The ceremony was also attended by Sheikh Dr Saeed bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence Mattar Salem Ali Al-Dhahri, Lt-General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Major General Ibrahim Salim Mohammad Al-Musharkh, Commander of the Naval Forces.
Addressing the ceremony, Brigadier Tareq Khalfan Abdullah Al Zaabi, commander of the college, said that the graduates have passed the training exercises and acquired military sciences, which will help them when they serve as officers in the UAE Armed Forces. He added that the graduates will be serving in the Armed Forces with confidence and determined to shoulder their responsibilities and duties.
Sheikh Hamdan honoured top performers and received members of Arab and foreign diplomatic corps and military officials, who attended the ceremony.
