As per the guidance of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Sport Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has approved 8 recommendations and initiatives from the brainstorming session that took places at the Dubai Sports Innovation Lab.
The ideas and initiatives will be part of Dubai’s Sport Strategic Plan for 2016-2021, and will be implemented in the highest standards. The initiatives fell in line with the 6 major topics covered during the session including professionalism, infrastructure, events organization, sport tourism, women’s sport, future sports, health and happiness and society.
The Dubai Sports Innovation Lab, held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan and organised by the Dubai Sports Council (DSC) in Meydan hotel, was attended by His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of the UAE Padel Association (UAEPA), Matar Al Tayer, Deputy Chairman of the DSC, Mohammed Al-Kamali, Secretary General of the UAE Olympic Committee, and Saeed Harib, Secretary General of DSC.
