Director of Dubai Customs: Dubai-Korea trade in first nine months of 2015 scored AED 21 billion

“We seek to keep abreast of our clients’ needs and to involve them in the development of our services, as part of our Irtibat programme, which aims to nurture closer ties with foreign business communities based in Dubai, ” said Ahmed Mahboob.

“We are building stronger trade ties with Korea through the implementation of the Authorized Economic Operator programme, which will add far more flexibility and simplification to cargo movement procedures between Dubai and South Korea,” he added.

Korea's Consul General applauded the efforts exerted by Dubai Customs to bolster the economy and to accommodate the growing influx of tourists to Dubai. He also underscored that Dubai Customs’ services and initiatives had greatly streamlined and expedited the flow of trade. 

Faisal Eissa Lutfi, DC World CEO and Director of External Relations at Dubai Customs, said: “We take to heart our obligation to maintain strong communication with trading partners to ensure optimal levels of cooperation and coordination.
