DEWA Carries out a new project to lay 132KV Cables

"DEWA is making enormous strides in carrying out its vital projects, especially the 132KV power transmission grid, which are the backbone of Dubai's electricity. This move aims to boost the efficiency of the grids to meet the increasing demand for DEWA's services and go on with performing its vital projects, especially in the field of infrastructure to deliver services at the highest levels of reliability and efficiency," said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA. 

"The project scope includes laying works of 132KV cables for five new under-construction substations, two of which are designated to provide Expo 2020 with electricity requirements, while the other three substations are designated for various development projects," added His Excellency. 
His Excellency also noted that the cost of the project is Aed 152 million, with total cable lengths of 202Km.  

"DEWA spares no effort to promote Dubai's position as a global hub for finance, business and tourism by securing all power requirements for different purposes," said His Excellency.
