As we approach the joyous occasion of Eid, Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the region, has introduced ‘Eidiya Express’ enabling instant Eidiya transfers to loved ones in the UAE. Distributing Eidiya or small gifts of money to children by elders is a popular cultural tradition that is part of the Eid celebration. As a front-runner in innovation, Emirates NBD’s ‘Eidiya Express’ brings modern technology to an age-old custom, by making the gifting of money quick, easy and intuitive. Customers can gift Eidiya via the bank’s Mobile Banking app to Emirates NBD customers as well as non-customers by simply entering the recipient’s mobile number. The funds can be sent to the beneficiary’s bank account or to be withdrawn as cash from any Emirates NBD ATM by entering a one-time PIN that the beneficiary will receive by SMS. |
