The Old Gold Souk in Dubai has long been a bucket list item for millions of avid travellers, and its grandeur makes it easy to understand exactly why that is. When to travel to Dubai
Being a Middle Eastern region, Dubai is renowned for its unrelenting heat year-round. However, if you are planning a trip to this exotic paradise in the Arabian desert, it is best to go in the cooler months, around winter (November to March). While the heat still rarely (if ever) plummets any lower than the mid-twenties (Celsius), it is much more agreeable to travel to Dubai when the heat is not astoundingly brutal. It is also important to note that Dubai is a middle eastern region, and so being relatively conservative and always respectful is a must. Going into malls that can be cooled down as low as fifteen degrees Celsius in short shorts and a spaghetti string singlet, for example, is not appropriate. If you are respectful of where you are, you will be treated with an abundance of kindness and respect back.
