His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered the maintenance of the house of a Sharjah resident who is experiencing financial difficulties.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah made the gesture after hearing the situation ofthe Emirati Abu Mohamed on ‘Al Rabia’ WalNas’, a live show on Ajman Radio that focuses on the problems faced by Sharjah residents.His Highness regularly followssuch programmes as part of his efforts to understandand safeguard the concerns and interestsof his residents.
Tasked with implementing the order of His Highness, Khalifa Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Sharjah Housing Department, drew attention to the AED20million fund allocated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan to help in the renovation of citizens’ houses.
In a statement to Sharjah Media Centre, Al Tunaiji said: “This fund has brought relief and joy to people who require housing renovations. During the restoration period,families are provided with temporary accommodation by the housing department.”
Al Tunaijiadded that his department has already begunwork on executing the order on a priority basis and praisedHis Highness for addressing the concerns of the people of Sharjah.
“A team of maintenance engineers have already been deployed to Abu Mohamed’s house to inspect and identify requirements for maintenance.His Highness seeks to provide permanent solutions to the problems of all people in Sharjah by offering unconditional assistance,” he added.
