ADIB Announces First Batch of Umrah Winners











Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank announced the first batch of winners for its Umrah Campaign titled Labbaik. The draw was made at the Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society Mina branch yesterday, and announced 30 winners of an all-expenses paid trip to perform Umrah pilgrimage. Launched in partnership with Etihad Airways, Ittihad newspaper, Labaik for Haj and Umrah, and Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society, the bank will hold its draw on a quarterly basis to announce the names of a total of 120 individuals to be taken on a Umrah trip. The pilgrims will receive a package that includes an 2-way Etihad Airways ticket to Jeddah on Coral Class, a 3-nights and 4-day stay at a four star hotel in Mekkah, free transportation service to and from Jeddah Airport, a copy of the Holy Quran, a booklet of Umrah guidelines, 3-daily buffet meals, in addition to Ihram clothing. Travel and visa arrangements will also be finalised by the Campaign sponsors. To qualify for the draw, customers can be UAE nationals or residents, over 18 years of age, holders of valid passports with the validity period in excess of 6 months, and residency visas with a validity of over 3 months. Customers who have not performed Umrah perviously are solely eligible to win. ADIB has launched this campaign to encourage customers to fully utilize the comprehensive website that the bank is providing them, and also is an embodiment of the cooperation between governmental organizations operating in the country.
