Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry( ADCCI) announced the launch of a new service of digital interactive electronic map of Abu Dhabi city, which is the first of its kind that provides users a long list of features that make optimal use of time.
HE Mohammed Rashed Al Hameli, director general of the Chamber, said that Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry through launching of Abu Dhabi electronic map is seeking to serve companies operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and bring together these companies on the one hand, investors and customers at the local, regional and international levels on the other, stressing that Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is working continuously to find ways to achieve convergence between the segments of the various economic sectors, and build better solutions and new technologies in the areas of information technology and communications.
Al Hameli said on this occasion that the launch of the electronic map of Abu Dhabi comes at a time when the UAE’s capital is witnessing rapid growth, which enhances the view of its importance to companies and individuals to be appointed by both the options to reduce the effort and time.
He also said: "This is only the beginning of a long list of electronic services and solutions adopted by the Chamber with the aim of streamlining the business processes on its members and to facilitate the follow-up on the daily life of residents and visitors to the emirate at the same time." The Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber pointed out that the chamber is seeking all chances of cooperation with various government agencies as well as representatives of the private sector to upgrade their services and the distinction between the different actors involved in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and that customers and visitors to Abu Dhabi Chamber to take advantage of the various services rendered to save time and speed up the completion of different transactions ".
Abu Dhabi electronic interactive map provides its users with the ability to take advantage of it very easily, regardless of their familiarity with using computers, and is compatible with various types of operating systems (Windows, Macintosh ...) with various computers, but needs only to download the "Java".
Map of Abu Dhabi has been provided with a set of interactive E-search services that help the user access a destination, or find a government department or a particular company very easily, and in this regard we can search for places in three ways: The first :tracking roads and districts in Abu Dhabi and press on places you want to know more information about them.
We can also search for facilities to be found through the selection of the index in the map, as it allows to choose a restaurant, for example, it sees all the restaurants located in the search ,which is an advantage and a unique feature for the city’s residents and visitors alike, which facilitates access to the destination. For example, a person wishing to travel to Abu Dhabi for the first time for the purpose of tourism or work can find the map very useful in finding hotels and their contact numbers to conduct inquiries with them.
. This feature is not restricted to luxury hotels, where you can narrow your search for a specific category of hotels according to the number of stars.
The third method of search is carried out by writing the name of the region or the place to be accessible in the text box, focusing specifically upon the map preview.
In each of the methods of search the map provides useful additional information for each department or building or institution referred to with some pictures and show the numbers and contact addresses and Web site and e-mail.
The interactive map of the Abu Dhabi E-service provides direct communication via e-mail, where you can press on the choice of location and service , or write a note or a letter to the recipient via e-mail to acknowledge the place fixed for the meeting or to inform him on technical, cultural events or activities and the appropriate chosen date fixed for holding those events .
