AMS And IMDAAD Partner To Provide Facilities Management Services In The Middle-East

Partnership to begin with the United Arab Emirates and extend to GCC & Levant Countries

Aswaq Management & Services (AMS) – the Abu Dhabi-based mixed-use property consultancy, sales, leasing and management company, has entered into an agreement with IMDAAD – the Dubai-based integrated facility management solutions company – to provide facility management services including consultancy, strata and operation management, health, safety and environmental services in the region.

The partnership, which consists of a comprehensive cycle of facility management services, will focus on AMS’ assigned properties in Abu Dhabi, in the other emirates as well as in the GCC and Levant Countries.

The agreement was signed by AMS Chairman H.E. Nasser Mohammed Al Nowais and Jamal Abdullah Lootah, Chief Executive Officer of IMDAAD LLC to identify AMS Projects and form a JV Company.

Explaining the significance of the partnership, H.E. Nasser Mohammed Al Nowais said: “Within this context of global financial crisis, the challenge of the real estate market in the Middle-East is to provide a better quality service and management with the assistance and the expertise of specialized property consultants and the skills of qualified managers and service providers. We believe that effective maintenance is indispensable to the projects assets value.”

AMS is under assignment to handle consultancy, leasing and management for various projects in the region. AMS and its regional affiliates in the GCC-Levant region -- AMS-Dubai, Gulf Management & Services in Bahrain, Beirut Real Estate Management & Services s.a.l. in Lebanon and Amman Real Estate & Management Services in Jordan manage 19 projects, covering a combined Gross Leasable and / or Sellable Area (GLA / GSA) of over 1.6 million square meters, thus representing a significant potential for this new partnership.
