LIVE to Broadcast Capitala World Tennis Championship, Using Cutting-Edge High Definition Technology











LIVE, a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media Company and the largest TV broadcast and production company in the region, which has a unique state-of-the-art HDTV OB Vans, will be broadcasting on January 1st the Capitala International Tennis Championship from Abu Dhabi Tennis Complex in Zayed Sports City. The championship, which has drawn participation from six of the world’s top players, will run for three days.

The production plan, including the number and distribution of cameras, has been laid out in cooperation with IMG, which is specialized in organizing tennis and golf tournaments around the world. Production will apply best international practices in the field and latest technology, from the use of 8-camera distribution to cover all angles of the stadium to advanced super slow motion systems, in order to capture all exciting details of the tournament. Additionally, the most advanced professional lenses specially designed for sport events, along with a full range of audio-visual equipment, will all be used with support from an HD OB (Al Murzem) van from the LIVE state-of-the-art fleet.

The Capitala World Tennis Championship will be broadcast in the region exclusively by Abu Dhabi Sports, and it will be broadcast globally.

LIVE has the exclusive rights to transmit the UAE Professional League Championships and the Arabic poetry program, “Shaer Al Million”. It has also broadcast the Middle East International Film Festival, Operette Zayed and the Dream, and the cricket championship.
