Today the organizers of the Big Boys Toys Super Show announced a music extravaganza alongside the three adrenaline-filled days of experience and excitement at the coming weekend’s super show. The Big Boys Music Lounge presented by Occassi, the new premium occasion design service, will provide over 30 hours of non-stop music entertainment. Featuring some of the UAE’s most talked about bands, complete with an international food court, the Big Boys Music Lounge provides a great chill out experience.
Between 12pm and 10:30pm for the first two days and 10 am to 8:30 pm for the last day at ADNEC, eight bands will entertain the crowds with their own original styles of music. Headlining all three days will be internationally recognized Abu Dhabi-based indie band Juliana Down, who blend emotive lyrics, pounding bass and soaring guitars to create a distinguished sound, which gets translated to an energetic live performance.
Also featuring on Friday night areDesert Heat, the Emirati hip hop duo who fuse traditional Arabian folklore with urban beats creating brilliantly composed raps and a unique sound. The band is fast becoming the most talked about, original and authentic music sensation the Gulf has ever seen.
Also featured in the music line up are Beat Antenna, a four-piece British born indie band; Brazilian guitarist Ziryb and The Setuza Band, whose technical skill and mix of styles regularly captivates their audience; Nikotin, a Dubai based heavy-rock band; folk-rock Canadian singer-songwriter DaNny with his excellent band; and local indie duo Meerkats.
Joining the boys is Amber Fauvé, a fourteen year-old Irish jazz singer with a voice far beyond her years. Amber delivers dazzling, enchanting renditions of old jazz classics with maturity, emotional resonance and technical delivery. This young talent is not to be missed as those who witnessed her at the Dubai Jazz Festival will testify.

Big Boys Toys Super Show is on at Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre between 30th April – 2nd May 2009.
