Emirates NBD Announces The Appointment Of A New Head Of Retail Banking In Abu Dhabi

Emirates NBD, the largest banking group in terms of assets in the region, announces the appointment of Mr. Abdulelah Al Kindy as the Head of Retail Banking, for Abu Dhabi & Al Ain region.  Al Kindy will further enhance Emirates NBD with his extensive experience of 26 years of in-depth banking experience, and will be responsible for Retail Banking, Priority Banking, SMEs, and the direct sales force of the Bank in Abu Dhabi.

 

Mr. Al Kindy’s banking experience covers every aspect of retail and consumer banking, building a solid foundation in banking and forming his technical expertise, in addition to his experience in Islamic Banking. On this new role announcement, Mr. Jamal Bin Ghalaita, Deputy CEO of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management at Emirates NBD said, “We are pleased to appoint Abdulelah Al Kindy to handle management of Retail Banking in Abu Dhabi, as he has an extensive experience with the Bank, and a strong background of retail and consumer banking. His appointment is yet another step towards the Bank’s customer-centric focus, and will strengthen the bonds between the Bank and its customers in Abu Dhabi & Al Ain through his strong driving force in realizing this challenging role and we are confident that his contribution will be of great significance to the development and success of Emirates NBD.”

Mr. Abdulelah Al Kindy will manage the Retail Banking based on his extensive banking experience.”

Mr. Al Kindy officially began his role as the new Head of Retail Banking for the Abu Dhabi region in the beginning of second quarter of 2009, and he is based in Emirates NBD’s Headquarters in Abu Dhabi located in Al Neem Building Sheikh Khlaifa Street.
