Nashwa is aired on Dubai TV every Monday at 22:30 and repeated every Saturday at 18:00.This week on Nashwa, media personality Nashwa Al Ruwaini propses a solution for families with autistic children, presenting parents who have had successful trials with their autistic children. Nashwa stresses on the importance of parents to work on improving the child�s performance and treat them medically, psychologically and socially in order for them to learn to depend on themselves. Nashwa is aired on Dubai TV every Monday at 22:30 and repeated every Saturday at 18:00. Mazen, a 10-year-old autistic child, appears as a guest on the show, along with his parents. Mazen has reached the fourth grade, achieving excellent grades, because of the insistence of his parents to face the problem and treat it without fear or shame. Also on the show are several experts in communication and physical therapy from Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt. In a candid discussion, the experts reveal the queues of children waiting for treatment in some areas and the lack of medical and social services for them. They also reveal a lack of awareness of the needs of autistic children in the Arab World. The show concludes by welcoming Mahmoud Wael, the youngest computer programmer in the world who refused a tempting offer to work in one of the largest computer companies at only 10 years. |
