Soccer Sensation For Summer In Abu Dhabi Weekend Celebration


Renowned Football Juggler In Mall Demos










World-renowned football juggler and coach Sean D’Arcy will be amazing audiences and passing on crucial soccer tips to youngsters at this coming weekend’s Summer in Abu Dhabi mall celebrations.

Coming to the UAE capital from Perth in Australia, D’Arcy, an experienced freestyler who regularly performs half-time shows at competitive matches and was an official entertainer at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, will appear at Al Wahda Mall on Friday from 7.30pm until 10pm and at Abu Dhabi Mall on Saturday from 7.15pm until 9pm.

“Sean will be teaching aspiring soccer stars tricks with both feet to improve their co-ordination and benefit all aspects of their game,” said Faisal Al Sheikh, Events Section Head, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, which is presenting the Summer in Abu Dhabi family carnival.

Sean D’Arcy’s appearances will head-up packed Summer in Abu Dhabi mall celebrations this weekend which will also feature art demonstrations and competitions, science challenges and performances by the Piso Caliente dance circus troupe who turn their magic to Latin, African, ballet, jazz, contemporary and tango styles.

This coming Friday and Saturday mark the final of the Summer in Abu Dhabi mall celebrations. The family carnival events continue until August 15 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre where over 200 performers are in action throughout seven, fully air-conditioned halls which are themed into five islands.

Meanwhile, Summer in Abu Dhabi’s headline show – Magic on Ice – runs at the Zayed Sports City Ice Rink until August 15, with the exception of August 9. The 60-minute spectacular, which features 18 of the world’s leading ice-skaters is the world’s only magic on ice show and runs each evening at 8pm. Tickets for Magic on Ice are available at ADNEC or on the door at Zayed Sports City.
