ISESCO’s Experts to hold a meeting in Sharjah to improve teacher’s skills Rabat, 24th Oct. 2009 (WAM) -- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), in cooperation with the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States, will hold an experts’ meeting on teacher’s skills improvement and continuous training from 25 to 27 October in Sharjah.

During this regional meeting, the experts will focus on different items such as the designing of sustainable vocational programmes for teachers, according to quality standards and modern teaching strategies, an ISESCO press release said today.

Furthermore, the experts will discuss the different methods for teachers’ performances evaluation, the pedagogical guidance and its role in enhancing teaching performance, the role of ICTs and their applications in designing continuous training programmes for teachers.

Moreover, this meeting aims at developing teachers’ training systems according to modern international trends, developing teachers’ professional capacities, strengthening their educational skills and improving their knowledge about designing training programmes to meet their real needs.
