Beats On The Beach’s Biggest Night So Far As More Than 30,000 People Celebrate Yasalam On The Corniche

The penultimate night of Beats on the Beach, brought to Abu Dhabi by TwoFour54, saw a veritable music fiesta with six eclectic acts entertaining the crowds on the Corniche. The biggest crowd so far - in excess of 30,000 people according to organisers Flash Entertainment - gathered for the latest line-up of free entertainment presented as part of Yasalam in the run up to the Formula One™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

A mellow start to the evening with Australian singer-songwriter Tahne was followed by home grown R&B from Abri. Thousands of adoring fans sang along as Lebanese favourite Ragheb Alama performed some of his biggest hits.

After a DJ set from another local favourite, Dany Neville, superstar Timbaland took to the stage and rocked the Corniche into the small hours of Saturday and delighted the crowd who were treated to some tracks from his brand new album.

DJ Rap was the final act of the evening.

The final night of Beats on the Beach (Saturday 31 October) will bring together people of all ages and backgrounds to see acoustic trio Dahab, famous Egyptian singer Mohamed Hamaki, legendary reggae band The Wailers and a DJ set from Charl Chaka live on the Corniche.
