The announcement of the exciting player draw for the Capitala World Championship has seen tennis fans move quickly to get their hands on one of the hottest tickets in town.
Flash Entertainment, the Abu Dhabi events company, and Capitala, the strategic real estate master planner and developer and title sponsor of the event, yesterday unveiled the player draw which will see Jo-Wilfried Tsonga play Nikolay Davydenko and Robin Söderling and Stanislas Wawrinka clash on day one at the Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex.
Winners on the opening day will move through to the semi-finals where they will face the imposing challenge of taking on world number one Roger Federer and world number two Rafael Nadal.
The tournament sold out weeks in advance last year and since tickets went on sale in October tennis enthusiasts have been quick to snap them up and ensure they are a part of the Middle East’s showpiece tennis event.
