Abu Dhabi Education Council Takes Strides Toward Providing Quality Special Education

ADEC invites you to attend the signing ceremony for the handover of the New England Center for Children

Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) to take over responsibility of the New England Center for Children – Abu Dhabi (NECC) on Sunday 20th December 2009 at 10:15 AM at ADEC.

The NECC, originally founded in the US in 1975, is a world-leading education facility for students with autism and related disabilities. It was established in Abu Dhabi in 2007 as a directive by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. This agreement is a significant step forward for ADEC’s 10-year Strategic Plan, which aims to provide accessible high-quality education to all children.
