Abu Dhabi Education Council Takes Strides Toward Providing Quality Special Education |

ADEC invites you to attend the signing ceremony for the handover of the New England Center for ChildrenAbu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) to take over responsibility of the New England Center for Children – Abu Dhabi (NECC) on Sunday 20th December 2009 at 10:15 AM at ADEC. The NECC, originally founded in the US in 1975, is a world-leading education facility for students with autism and related disabilities. It was established in Abu Dhabi in 2007 as a directive by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. This agreement is a significant step forward for ADEC’s 10-year Strategic Plan, which aims to provide accessible high-quality education to all children.
