BID Sponsors Leading UAE Youth Football Stars Amer Abdel-Rahman And Diab Awanah


Baniyas Football Club Company signs up the 2 players for 5 years










Baniyas Investment and Development Company (BID) has announced its sponsorship of top soccer players Amer Abdel-Rahman and Diab Awanah, both part of the UAE national youth squad and the Baniyas Football Team. On the other hand, Baniyas Football Club Company has also signed contracts with the two soccer stars to play for it’s ‘A’ team for five additional years. The two footballers were part of the UAE youth team, which won the 2008 Asian Cup and also qualified for the 2009 World Youth Cup.

In his comments, Dean Mattar Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baniyas Football Club Company, said: “Our contract with Amer Abdel-Rahman and Diab Awanah reaffirms our belief in their abilities and potential. Signing these players is in line with our company’s strategy to bring in the best of talent to ensure continued success of our club. We are confident that this move will not only help harness the skills of the talented soccer players but also benefit the Baniyas Football Club and overall football standards across the UAE.”

BID CEO Wael Tawil said “BID’s decision to sponsor Amer Abdel-Rahman and Diab Awanah is part of our mandate to encourage talent in the football loving Baniyas City and the UAE.
