UAE Free Zones Contributes Effectively To Attract Foreign Capital











Engineer Rashid Al Leem, Director General of Ports and Customs Department, and Free Zone Authority in the Emirate of Sharjah, said that UAE Free Zones contributed actively in creating investment climate to attract foreign capital besides developing local industries, providing job opportunities, in addition to its positive impact on world trade.

He noted, during his meeting with His Excellency Consul General Keun Tae Park of South Korean in Dubai, who visited the Authority to view investment opportunities and facilities provided to investors, that the UAE has the elements of competitiveness that meet the aspirations and wishes of investors due to its geographical location close to European and Asian markets and Free Zones.

The Korean Consul General said that UAE market today offers many competitive advantages, global services that facilitate the work of investors in general, and Koreans in particular, referring to the quality of the industry which the UAE is competing with counterparts in overseas markets especially the European, American and Asian markets.

HE hailed industrial diversification and development witnessed in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, especially in heavy industry, stressing the need to take advantage of excellent relations between both countries to establish joint investment in Sharjah, calling UAE investors to interact with their South Korean counterparts to identify promising investment opportunities in both countries to establish strategic partnerships that benefits the two countries.
