Sharjah City Centre Recognises Retailer Excellence

Sharjah City Centre presented retailer awards in twelve different categories at its recent Annual General Tenants Meeting, which was hosted at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Awards were made based on sales performance, operational compliance and standards of customer service at the mall over the last year.

Commenting on the awards, Anna Mansour, Mall Manager of Sharjah City Centre, said, “The last 12 months have been encouraging with footfall increasing compared to the level of the previous year. We depend on our retailers to maintain the high standards of Sharjah City Centre and I’m proud to say that, once again, our retailers have surpassed our expectations.”

Fashion brand New Look was named ‘Best Retailer of the Year’ and ‘Best Fashion Store’ while BHS was named ‘Best Anchor Store’ of the year. A special award was presented to Al Jaber Opticals for demonstrating the ‘Best Team Spirit’ – in addition to an award for the ‘Best Optical, Accessories and Service Store’.

Other retailers honored by Sharjah City Centre included Areej, winner of ‘Best Health, Wellness & Perfume Store’; Giordano Junior for ‘Best Children Fashion Store’ and Al Safeer Restaurant for ‘Best Restaurant/Café/Food Outlet’.

Vincci took the award for ‘Best Footwear & Sports Store’ and Rivoli was named ‘Best Jewellery & Watches Store’. Borders received the award for ‘Best Entertainment, Hobby & Books & Gifts Store’ and Jacky’s Electronics was awarded for ‘Best Electronics & Telephone Accessories store’.
