Through the ‘Made in Sharjah’ initiative, SCCI aims to attract international investors and visitors and establish Sharjah as a leading economic hub in the UAE and the Middle East by promoting the emirate’s local products and highlighting the competitiveness of the emirate in terms of its investment climate, well-established legal framework, attractive tax exemptions, low production costs, wide availability of capital resources, strong presence of qualified human resources and competitive pricing structure. The event will also promote cooperation and cultivate strategic partnerships between local and foreign manufacturers, exporters and importers, which will support the growth of Sharjah’s industrial sector. We have been therefore very keen in organising the exhibition in line with our plans and strategies for 2010, which include the implementation of programs that promote the growth potential of the Emirate. Furthermore, we aim to open opportunities in the area of industrial investment and to provide technical and consultancy services and funding facilities for all investors.
